Hey everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're going to be taking a quick look at the RV Repair Roof Tape. This allows you to create a barrier over any kind of area where you're missing some roof membrane. Maybe something happened to damage it. There's a scratch or a tear in it. Or if you're just trying to patch over any kind of joint or seam in that material.

So maybe where two pieces meet, or there's a window or something else. Any kind of material that you'd want to be able to seal up around this is going to help you to do that.It's a really strong adhesive so it's going to stick in place in all kinds of extreme temperatures, and hold on and be that waterproof barrier that we need to make sure that there's nothing that's going to get into our RV. I'm going to take off the outer wrapping and show you a little bit of the inside here. So this is going to be our actual material. As you can see, it does come in white so it should match your roof membrane material.

You just need to roll out as much as you need, cut it to length and then remove the backing.This measures six feet long and four inches wide. You could adhere this to all kinds of materials including fiberglass, glass, roof membranes. It can go on rubber, or wood, vinyl, PVC, as long as it's a rigid PVC, and most other building materials. It does have a really strong adhesive so whenever you're rolling this out, you do want to give it some pressure as you're applying it once you have that backing tape off. You can also apply it even if it's down to 25 degrees Fahrenheit so no need for any kind of primer.

If it's going to be colder than that, you will need a primer just to get it to stick, but it has a sticking power, even up to negative degrees Fahrenheit and up to 200 degrees Fahrenheit. So it's really made for all kinds of situations. It's not going to crack or harden or shrink at all.It can also be applied to wet surfaces as long as it's non-porous. Whenever you're making that installation on those wet surfaces, though, you want to be sure to press it hard enough to squeeze out that water so that there's not any water in between that adhesive material and whatever you're mounting it to. So pretty straightforward to get this installed.
